Suncoast Humane Society’s 2020 Holiday Fund Drive

We all need hope. But when innocent animals are sick, abandoned, abused, neglected, and discarded, who will help them? Who hears their cry for help? Who pats their heads, feeds their empty bellies, and shows them that there is hope?

Meet sweet Bella. She is an innocent dog, who was brought to us with her lips split open from elastic ties being wrapped around her mouth. Unable to eat, she was underweight and in pain. The team at Suncoast Humane Society jumped in to help her. Immediately, she got the medical attention she desperately needed to repair her mouth and went from the surgery suite to a foster, who cared for her while she recovered. Despite the cruelty she endured, Bella’s spirit stayed strong. She seemed to know that we were there to help her. Instead of cowering, she wagged her tail and showed us she knows what hope is.

Today, Bella is protected and wrapped in love, the way every pet deserves to be treated. None of this would be possible without you. You are the hope for Bella. You are the hope for the thousands more who desperately need us to help them.

On behalf of Bella, thank you!

2020 challenged us all, but we did not step back from our promise to innocent animals like Bella. The animals and members of our community were unshakably central to our decision making, as Suncoast Humane Society offered hope to more than 4,600 animals this year through sheltering, medical services, and our Community Pet Food Bank.

We dedicated our lives to love and protect them, and it all happened with the help of generous people like YOU.

But, we won’t stop here. A lot of other animals need our help now, and we are ready to provide them with what they need to be healthy, happy, and to find hope. And to do it all, we need help – YOUR help.

Will you donate this holiday season to help save more innocent animals like Bella?

The impact of your gift, no matter how big or small, offers hope in times of desperation.
