Laundry Volunteer Pete S.
Pete, one of our faithful volunteers, tackles all the important duties of a laundry assistant while wearing a huge smile!
“To make it easier for the staff to get their work done.”

Pete S. – Laundry Assistant Volunteer, 15 years of service.

One of the many volunteer opportunities we have here at  Suncoast Humane Society is a Laundry Assistant. All of our laundry assistant volunteers perform a wide array of duties. These include washing, drying, and folding towels and blankets that are generously donated to us by the public for the animals’ comfort.

We are very fortunate to have volunteers like Pete who generously give of their time and skills to help us continue our mission to “reduce the number of homeless animals and improve the quality of life.” If you are interested in helping our homeless pets while meeting new people with similar interests, please contact our Events and Volunteer Manager Jacqueline Elliott by phone at 941-474-7884 or by email at jelliott@humane.org.
