Associate Director of Operations

Suncoast Humane Society is poised to be the preeminent animal welfare agency on the gulf coast of Florida. We have updated our mission and looking to hire an innovative Associate Director of Operations to create and implement community responsive programs.  Our vision is to celebrate a community whose pets are safe, protected and loved. Suncoast Humane Society is  located on the beautiful Gulf coast of Florida and we are searching for a passionate, creative, and experienced Associate Director of Operations to help us evolve into a hub & spoke organization. Ideal candidate will assist Director of Operations in overseeing operational facility departments, focusing on foster program and adoptions, and create innovative approaches in customer service and protocols, all aimed to create a no-kill community. Responsibilities include supervision assuring that proper policies and procedures are being followed, helping to build, establish and maintain alliances with volunteers,  community organizations, agencies, and vendors. Regional Thrift Store Manager

The ideal candidate is a passionate retail manager with exceptional business acumen to oversee the successful outcomes of Suncoast Humane Society’s three thrift stores. Candidate must have a proven history of managing a multi-site retail business model with a track record of creating results driven staff and volunteer teams. Animal Care Technician 

Suncoast Humane Society is looking for a full-time Animal Care Technician for our Preventive Health Care Clinic and Animal Care Center. Candidate must be proficient in small animal anesthesia for spay/neuter patients. Must also exhibit competency in providing medical care and diagnostics for the animals in the shelter as well as pets belonging to the public. Requirements also include surgical prep knowledge, drawing blood, administering injectable medications and performing basic physical examinations.
